Where We Give
The National Future Farmers of America – Todd and Julie both were members of their local chapters of FFA and earned their State Farmers Degrees. Todd went on to earn his American Farmer Degree. This organization gave to them and they choose to give back to it to improve the future of rural America. They are fortunate enough to have Jill Mason Wagner, Todd’s sister, who is the State Relations Specialist at the National FFA Organization. She may not have direct oversight over funding but it gives them further confidence in their donations. You can donate directly at www.ffa.org.
4-H Foundation – 4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. Todd and Julie both also started their agriculture organization membership as grade school 4-Hers. 4-H instilled in them leadership, character, citizenship, public speaking, teamwork and many more attributes too numerous to count. It gave them a firm foundation. If you are not familiar with the 4-H pledge it says it all. “I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to great loyalty, my hands for larger service and my health for better living.” That truly has clearly summed up how Todd and Julie try to live. They consider their giving back to be a service to the organization. They both also volunteer throughout the year to their local 4-H and FFA programs. To give directly go to www.4-h.org.
Changing Lives Together
Savannah Station Therapeutic Riding Program – Savannah Station Therapeutic Riding Program’s mission is to offer Hope and Healing to people with special needs through the amazing power of the horse. Therapeutic riding has proven to be valuable in producing physical, cognitive, social, and educational benefits. A friend of both Todd and Julie started working a few years ago with this program for those with special needs. They do amazing work. Visit them at www.savannahstation.org.
Host Ministries Helping Hand Program – Host Ministries Helping Hand Program is an extension of Julie’s church. It is an outreach initiative designed to help the homeless overcome their current living and working situations in order to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society. The program’s long-term goals include building tiny houses and a transitional dorm. Step by step, this program is reaching and transforming lives. Host Ministries also operates Twice is Nice Thrift Shop in Clinton, OK, with all proceeds going to support this vision of rehabilitation. Donations can be made via Cash App at $HOSTBLESSEDL2W, or by choosing to donate when purchasing beef.
